Greetings In Christ.
Through the power of the surgeon's scalpel, mine eyes now pass light. How does does salt literally lose its savor? Is it neutralized by acids? Are the cares of this world metaphorical acids which rob my spiritual salt of its savor? Stewardship demands we care for this world. This makes the cares of this world our collective responsibilities and our salt subject to loss of savor.
Surely it is a matter of balance. Too many cares? Add salt. From whence cometh more salt? From pursuit of wisdom. Seek and find. Looking for shortcuts? Talk to other wisdom seekers about their latest or most exciting discoveries.
Don't many of us see ourselves as truth seekers? Yet, the book of Proverbs tells us to seek wisdom, that wisdom is the principal thing. Truth is not always prerequisite to wisdom. Wisdom is often intuitive. It is tuning into the I Am and turning down the static of environment. Being present in the present.
May our cups so run over, those nearby may freeely drink.
